The March online book club selection is “The Color of Water: A Black Man’s Tribute to His White Mother.”
Described as a memoir which “touches readers of all colors as a vivid portrait of growing up, a haunting meditation on race and identity, and a lyrical valentine to a mother from her son.”
The evening will include a panel discussion led by Angela Dredden and Chloe Scott, both from the Frederick community. Our conversation promises to be authentic, honest, and respectful as we examine ways for better understanding the stories that make us who we are.
