Cheri Thompson and the crew at The Savory Spoon have been a permanent fixture at Soles of Love for the past five years and every year they impress me even more!

Named 2013 Startup Entrepreneur of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce, Cheri prides herself on using sustainable, earth-friendly means to provide clients with fresh, creative menu combinations. My favorite part of the Soles evening every year is when Cheri arrives on the scene. Her effervescent personality makes my charity event a real party and she genuinely loves this event as much as I do.

Every year when we are closing down, she turns to me and says, “So, what’s the theme next year?”  It always makes me laugh because this woman takes the Soles of Love themes quite seriously. Her table displays and presentations scream attention to detail. I already know this year, The Savory Spoon is taking it to the next level by adding a serving station to our many options.

Thank you, Cheri, for making Soles a classy and super-yummy event. More importantly, thank you for your friendship and the way you put the soul into Soles of Love. Love you!

If there really are Guardian Angels in this world, I found mine in Robin Jones. Last year I was in a bind to find a printer willing to produce the full-color program distributed at our event.
