Soles of Love in the Garden: Meet our Final List of Kitten Sponsors

Wow! If you’ve been reading the Soles of Love blog posts over the past few weeks, you’ll know that we are being represented by a spectacular array of organizations (and individuals) committed to doing good in this community. Today I present the final five Kitten Sponsors!

Therese Boucher

Therese Boucher is an Independent Specialist with EVER Skincare. Therese was so impressed by their transformative line with good-for-you ingredients that bring real results that she made the easy decision to represent them. Talk about a testimonial. The entire line is botanically derived and clinical grade with NO parabens, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic fragrance, or chemical sunscreen. (My attitude has always been “if you can’t pronounce the ingredients, it’s probably not good for you!”) Check out her website and the product offerings and you’ll be impressed.

Therese is fairly new to the Must Love Shoes community but not new to me. Our friendship goes back…..waaaaaay back to the late 1970’s when we were Lambda girls at Frostburg State University. And once a “sister,” always a sister. Thanks to the beauty of Facebook, we reconnected a few years back and I’m grateful that she makes the trek from Bethesda to attend my book club launches, the Must Love Shoes Book Club events, and now you’ll get to meet her Friday night. How cool is that? Thanks, Therese!  “……and they’ll know we are sisters by our love…….”

Money Mentor Group

Jane Helm and Karen Racicot know a thing or two about money. Their mission at Money Mentor Group is to help others understand the root of their relationship with money and learn simple steps to help control it, instead of letting money control them. In addition, they can help clients organize important documents, recognizing potential gaps within those documents, and leaving a guide for clients and their loved ones in case of a Life Event.

Their services include Coaching and Educational Services, Individual and Couples Coaching, Assisting with Financial Wellness, and they’ve been featured speakers at a number of conferences and local events. I chuckled with I learned that they did Couples Coaching because the first ten years of my marriage involved many interesting discussions centered around our differing opinions regarding how to handle our finances. Fortunately for us, Dan won!  ? It’s nice to know there are people out there who can help us deal with such an important thing.

Money Mentor Group is new to the “Must Love Shoes” community and this will be Jane’s first time attending Soles of Love. So make sure to say hello!  Thanks, ladies!

Sage Small Business Services, LLC

Meet Mary McCormack, owner of Sage Small Business Services. I love her description of services which includes:”creating leisure time for business owners,” because if there is something entrepreneurs need, it’s that. (Speaking from a stressed-out state of mind right now!)

Mary strives to give her clients that freedom from chaos by providing customized and full-service capabilities. She also provides clients with a “blessing of the books” prior to tax time. I can just picture her anointing the books, saying “I pronounce you Uncle Sam ready!”)  Mary is well versed in Quickbooks®, as a ProAdvisor as well as a trainer.

I adore this feisty tell-it-like-it-is woman and know how carefully she attends to her clients. I’m especially proud that Mary recently graduated from Leadership Frederick and joins the ranks of thousands of Frederick County professionals committed to the improvement of our community. Thanks, Mary, for both your friendship and support.

Melissa Lentz, Realtor, Keller Williams Realty Centre

Melissa Lentz is, without a doubt, the Energizer Bunny. In addition to being a dynamic Zumba instructor and Marketing Extraordinaire, she is a successful real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty Centre.

You may be wondering what they all have in common but she understands completely what thread ties them all together. Melissa Lentz believes in helping others any way she can. She tells me that’s what makes her jump out of bed in the morning, and if you’ve been in her presence for even a few minutes, you know she probably really does…. jump!

Being the trusted resource for such a big part of someone’s life brings with it a responsibility to make sure everything is handled the right way to ensure a positive transaction and a happy client. Melissa chose Keller Williams Realty Centre because the company core values are equally aligned with hers: “God, Family, then Business. With a mission to build careers worth having, businesses worth owning lives worth living, experiences worth giving, and legacies worth leaving.”

To be truthful, I don’t remember WHEN I actually met Melissa for the first time. She’s one of those women I feel I’ve known forever. Her signature laugh fills my heart with so much joy and I’m grateful that she has continually been a “Woman of Sole.”

Support Unlimited, Inc.

Last, but certainly not least, Support Unlimited, Inc. joins the Kitten Heel Sponsor team. Linda Morgan has been providing bookkeeping services to the startup and small business community in the Baltimore/Washington/Fredericktriangle since 1994. Her services include: Quickbooks® software installation and set up; Quickbooks® training; Bookkeeping consultations; Bookkeeping services on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis; Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts; Management of Payroll; Human Resource and Administrative Support Services; as well as Business Coaching.

In the unlikely event that you think that’s not enough (whew!) Linda is finishing up her tenure as Board President of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce. So the woman knows a thing or two about business.

I’m happy to call Linda my friend and have enjoyed spending more time with her over the past year, shaking our groove thing at the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Ball, shopping till we drop at a recent Talbots private shopping party, and just lunching and talking about what it means to be Mom to children who are “citizens of the world.”  Thanks, Linda, for being a continual presence at Soles of Love.

Stay tuned tomorrow when I share the wonderfully long list of Flip Flop Sponsors!
